I started my Journey as Hair Artist in 1978 I was a young girl loving to do hair I could look at a picture and cut a style, I was always fascinated with cutting angles and shapes in the hair. I was only 14 at the time I was so intrigue with doing hair, but my parents had other plans, my father worked a prestige’s Tulane University In the city of New Orleans and his dream for me was to become the first woman lawyer in the family, which was detoured due to becoming a Teenage mom the year of graduation. I finished High school and decided to go to hair school after graduation.

Graduated at the Top of Cosmetology School. My father turned our garage into a salon for me, within one year I out grew the space and had to move into a larger space that allowed me to hire barbers and stylist. We expanded to a 2nd location as well this is when I learned that I also had a talent in business. Bring people together and keeping together was very important to me so I implemented in salon training classes and in salon retailing to my staff .

In 2004 I went back to school to pursue my Degree in Business Administration at Dillard University in New Orleans and Masters in Organizational Management. After college I begin teaching salon management to salon owner standing behind the chair has taught some very important values that people want to be heard, all money is not good money, and listening is your best friend.  You can do and become anything you want, but always be gracious, Patient and willing.

I have worked with some of the greatest artist in the industry.  From platform artist of Silk 2, a horary member of Team Hollywood Patric Bradley, and CEO of Glam International Hair Magazine. My Journey has been amazing. “Remember all things are possible if you believe."
